My 92 940 turbo stalls out or loses power when my gas tank drops to one third full. This has been going on since summer and it is getting worse. I have to keep the tank full to be able to drive this car. I have replaced both fuel pumps and air mass meter. I am stumped. Someone point me in the right direction- please.

I had similar problems with my non turbo car. Replace fuel filter and check all fuell hoses. My problem was broken (porouse) fuel hose.

Did you replace the fuel pumps with brand NEW ones or ones from a junkyard? If not new, these buggers tend to dry out in the junkyard or on someone's shelf. Could also be a clogged fuel filter.

My 92 940 turbo has been stalling or losing power once or twice a month for the past 6 months- It usually happens when I'm at a stop light or after hitting a few pot holes. I've never checked to see if the gas is low when it happens though. Is this a common problem??
