I have a hole in my exhaust pipe. I don't know whether or not its the muffler. Does it make a difference? The hole is at the connection of the wider flatter pipe....is that the muffler? If I replace the muffler does that include all the exhaust tailpipes? Is it expensive?
Thanks,
V

not usually. muffeler is an independant unit and any pipes are seperate. if just one of the pipes, have it welded =muchj cheaper.

If the quotes you get make you wince, especialy after christmas etc, you can buy exhaust repair bandage and exhaust repair paste, easy to use, instructions come with the packaging. Just make sure you wear rubber gloves when using the stuff, tough to get off your hands afterwards.

If you make anywhere near a half decent job of it, it should keep you going for a couple of months.
