Hi All,

I'm new to the forum and am looking for some advice. Two days ago, while driving my 440 Li the wipers came on all by themselves and I cannot switch them off! The only way I can stop them is to pull the fuse out. I have no idea what could be wrong but suspect it has something to do with the fact that one of the headlight wipers is not working at all. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

thanks

I realise this might be old news as the last post on this thread was in Dec 05!

But I was wondering if this problem was resolved?

I am having the same problem.

I too have one headlight wiper that has died, and this morning when I pulled on the washer/wiper, it failed to stop on releasing the lever, and proceeded to empty the entire contents of my wash reservoir.

The motor was screaming still trying to pump water from the empty tank, and the wipers still going furiously when I arrived at work

I have pulled out the lever mechanism and there is no fault there, so I am guessing it is another relay further on that has got stuck, any ideas on how I can fix this?

Cheers
