What are you looking for...?

People with 240s here that I know likes to customise their parts, so they go directly to the factory / weld-shops like if you're looking for exhaust mods parts.

There is a place here locally (Re-Volv) that slaps a 5L mustang HO engine into a 240 - that might improve your performance eh? Apparently that conversion isn't all that difficult.

id really like to know also

The car is really old and not worth much, but anyone know anybody that makes some sort of cold air intake for an '87 240 DL?

Or if nobody makes one, maybe an intake made for a different car that would fit the volvo?

thx

and you think a V8 will sound like what? A moo cow?

re: intake
I've heard that apparently on this engine it's not an issue, as the stock intake was already more than enough for the car.

so you did an engine swap from a b230f to a b230ft? the T in ft denotes a turbo, which opens a whole window of opportunities for modifications.

b230ft, with a manual boost controller @11-13psi and some decent ambient temps, can have you spanking hondas all day long, or run 15 sec 1/4 mile all day long, which ever you prefer.
