I have a clunking sound in my front end of my 1998 Volvo S90, I have taken the car to a shop, and they replaced the rack - but I am still hear sound. Does anybody have an idea of where this noise is coming from?

ok, 4 words for you rear control arm bushings that is going to be the problem, just change out the rear control arm bushings on your front control arme and that will do it for you, i had the same problem and that was the solution, it took me awhile to figure out where the clunking was, i got 3 seporate answers but it was my independant volvo mechanic that narrowed down the problem to that part
