Drives: 2000 v 40
i[SIZE=7] have a 2000 v40 td and the alarm fob range got les and less .then failed .The alarm went off when trying to start . Car turns over immobilsed ,and the car does not respond to the fob inc new battery . help please

:crying: Sorry to say that you may have to go to a Volvo stealership, to get the fob & ECU re-synchronised. Worth shopping around a few dealers as some charge the earth.
