i'm replacing my front and rear bumpers with a kit but can't find a manual to explain how to remove the front and rear bumpers, and side skirts.

Hi again Mong Man.

Haynes Manual 3569 explains front & rear bumper removal & refitting procedures.

Most side skirts bolt to the underside of the doorsill - suggest looking under the car for bolt or screw heads. The location of the mounting holes on the new side skirt should show you where mounting points are on the original factory-fitted ones.

Hope you post pics when you've fitted the new kit.

:trophy: Found your previous post - WOW! That's some kit & the spoiler is massive - you'll need to put some lead in the new front bumber to keep all 4 tyres on the road!

Manual 3569 covers all (petrol) 40 series models from '96 to '04, so should do the trick for you.

As well as posting pics of the finished job on the forum, (yawn, here comes the boring bit.....), do remember to send details to your insurer of all modifications, otherwise they might say you've invalidated your cover by modifying the vehicle & then withholding this material fact.

Coventry won't know what's hit it!
