:clap: once i have the bodywork on my s4o completed later this month i'm planning to go to milton keynes. there's a mod car meet every sunday night and the volvo complement is rising slowly. i'll keep you guys informed.

:thumbsup: :beer: Greetings brits. following the interest in a meet i'm sourcing a place that's easily accessible off major motorways. a date to suit all in march is open, however a provisional one on the 18th is cool for me. i'm looking either junction 2 off the M6 where there's a big car park and ASDA, or the international hokey stadium in Milton Keynes. either's good for space. there's a lot of motels and travelinn's around and i can make a list with satnav points for ease. fuel here is hovering around 85.9 for unleaded, 88.9 diesel. i'll try and source the cheapest fuel as well. there's a big cinema, shopping centre and plenty of restaurants nearby for the kids.
So bring as many as you can, it doesn't matter what car. should be a great day, hopefully the first of many. bring the family and finally meet those hermits on the other end of the net! looking forward to seeing you all.

Holiday Inn Coventry M6 looks good if anyone wants beers Saturday night without worrying about driving. As soon as I know meet is definitely on, I'll book myself & "she who must be obeyed" in. Can then also mention the meet in as many posts as possible!

Bored tonight so decided to find that Asda on the map - is it the one at Brade Drive, Walsgrave, CV2 2PN?

not too sure. it's easy to find if directions are usefull! take jcn 2 off the m6 and follow the a4600 past the roundabouts untill you go down a dip. then, at the roundabout on top of a hill you turn left into asda. probably the same one!

:) okay. if we set the start time at 2pm at the car park, then travel group convoy to a local pub, where we could have music courtesy of a good local group. date 18th for certain. if everyone's interested i'll book it all, but need responces rought numbers by end of the month. then i'll book the group, and find the location so rooms can be booked.
