First of all, reading your profile, you have an 859 (read: Eight - Five - NINE???) model...?
9 doors...?
[Just kidding, Maybe a typo error...]

The silicone vacuum hoses are supposed to last a lot longer than the stock ones. If your present ones have already started its aging process (i.e. stiffening, with miniscule cracking here and there), you might want to consider using the silicone hoses.

While maintaining the flex, silicone vacuum hoses could also maintain rigidity of its shape, even when proned to abuse.

But also sometimes they aren't strong enough and will collapse.

All depends on where you get them from. hoses made in china and far east use fillers in their silicone base. thus weakening the silicone, their rigidity and overall performance. the kits you see pre-packaged, especially at your local auto parts store are made in china.

A little problem, how could a consumer know how to detect semi-cilicon and 100%-fully Silicone hoses?
(Aside from asking the seller, of course - and be subject to his mood to be honest for the day...)

:)

Besides asking and hoping to get an honest answer, you would have to have them in your hand. 100% Silicone will have more rigidity. Some will have thicker walls as well. PM me for more info.
