ok so i'm driving home the other night and my needles drop.....i thought the car stalled.....but no it runs fine.......the guages just won't work as well as the odometer........
somebody help me fix this......... here's what doesn't work: 1) fuel guage 2) Speedometer 3) Odometer 4) RPM meter 5) Temperature guage (kinda works in overdrive) 6) overdrive indicator is reversed (it says its in overdrive when its not and that its not in overdrive when it is) The car runs fine otherwise. I just changed the alternator and i still have this problem. Please help. |

look to me is your meter is totally not working...is either the wiring or the power surpply to the meter is the problem. Have you ever take out the back wire and plug in again ?? try it first , may just the loosen wire harness....is rare to find the whole meter not runing like this..

Sounds to me too like it might be a loose wiring harness.

just hit the top of your dash right above the guages.
works for me every time ;) ( fuel guage and the lightbulb behind the temp. are loose ) |
