I have a 98 s70 and was looking to replace my old stock unit with an alpine deck. I heard that it might be hard to install is there anything special i need besides the deck and the wiring cables to install the deck?

It should be cake from there as long as you have the proper wiring adaptor and install kit.

I know this is an old post, but I'm in the process of putting an Alpine into my 98 S70.

Got the kit from Crutchfield. Came with adapter cable.

Just not sure why there are two antenna like looking cables plugged into the old stereo.

One is the antenna, what's the other?

Help....
