I have purchased running boards from the Volvo XC 90 catalogue for my 04 XC 90 2.5T AWD, and the ones installed to my car are a different design.

When I asked why they are different from the ones in the catalogue dealer said these are the only ones sent by Sweden!! Is that true?

The ones installed are wider and bulkier than the originals.

I do not know if the parts are different for different world markets.

In the US the original number was 8633464. The supplier changed this year and the new number is 30660527. However, the parts should be identical, with no visual change. Is it possible that in Turkey a locally sourced (or aftermarket) running board was used by your dealer instead of the genuine Volvo part?

Sorry for the late reply :liebe011: Dealer said there are not one but [/B]three different model running boards, and apologised for not asking me which one I would like installed on my car. He has shown me the original invoice from Sweden for two models, and asked if I would like a replacement.
