V40 started overheating & churning out white smoke
on further inspection there was no coolant and it was way over on the oil.. (water had moved in) plus oily residue in the coolant compartment.. Gasket has gone :( (I Think)


Garage has quoted me £1200 + possibly £200 if the combustion plugs need wrk too

the car is only worth £3k bought 3 months ago.. ouch
part x it may be an option unless I can find a cheaper garage

any in Bournemouth UK let us know

Doesn't sound like a lemon to me sounds like the person before you neglected the car.
