The story is that I just sold a P-1800S 1968 I had restored partially. In the end I just did not have the time nor place to work on it. A bit sad it is, but she is now in Germany somewhere I heard and in good hands. :)

At the moment we are looking at getting a V50 T5 FWD 6-speed. I am just a bit puzzled about the different chassis options. Since the T5 is very scarce here in the Netherlands it has been impossible to get to try one nearby. We took a 2.4i out and we got very good impressions. The question is, how does a 2.4i relate to the road holding of the T5? Noticeably stiffer – lower suspension? I would possibly be interested in the lowered sports chassis too, but I am reluctant to some degree. They have so many speed bumps in the streets here and some of them are quite high :o.

I did a search hear on these items but I haven’t found any data yet. Perhaps I should post in the V50 with a direct question.

I've tried to test-drive a V50 earlier but the dealer agent came up with excuses to not let me...

Whether it was the 'devilish' look on my face, or my baggy clothes that I was wearing, or some other reason, he offered me the new S40. Though the S40 was with the Sports package, which looked nice, it never tempted me.

But if you have lots of speed-bumps in your place, I'd suggest you not get the Sports Package on your V50. Just the T5 function would do simply superb. :)

BTW, the Sports Package will include a set of 17-inch wheels. :)

I own an 06 T5 V50 and the tighter suspension has never bothered me over high or low speed bumps, and I can't get enough of how it handles, although the ride is a little stiff so you may want to hold off on that option. Also, I never had a problem test driving the car, and I'm a 17 year old.
