having problem with dash warning lights occasionaly not coming on.All dial lights are ok and have checked all relays and fuses and they all seem ok.If handbrake warning light doesnt come on when I stop I know that rest of lights not working either.Been to auto electrician but said cant do anything till they stay out

Try playing with the key switch with the car running and see if the lights flash and not work. Or if they don't work then play with the switch and see if they come back.

If so then the electrical part of the ignition switch is bad.
