:cat: Hi there everybody. My front shock absorbers are giving up the ghost. I have been told I am looking at about NZ$900.00 plus labour for a new pair. I don't mind that too much-but I wonder-are there any aftermarket shock absorbers which are just as good-if not better than Volvo-to fit my 1999 S80? If so, which make, which model etc.

Any information would be appreciated thank you.

Is there anything I should know about fitting aftermarket shock absorbers? Like upsetting the computer/alignment etc.

Regards

Auckland :trophy:

Dude,

I just like found one supposedly really good aftermarket place to install non-Volvo suspensions that are better and *ehem, well* only slightly cheaper. Check out:- http://www.titansuspension.com/

Almost everyone who tried them are happy with it!
(Being customised, they require quite a few return-trips to adjust the suspension to your taste...)

See if there's anything equivalent at NZ!

:cat: Thanks Tech and Ampanbear-I looked at the photographs in Titan. I noticed the man smoking in the second photo. In NZ he would not be allowed to do that. I will sound out a few of the suspension places here. Actually, we have lots of suspension and tyre places offering everything. I just don't want to buy something which I will regret later.

I will keep you posted.

Thank You

Cheers from Auckland.
