:cat: Hi Tech. My first Volvo was a 1990 740 Turbo. 2.3litre engine. I took a while to learn how to drive it. I drove it like my brand new 2000 1.8litre Corolla-I had to relearn how to drive. The Volvo smoked the tyres because I forgot I had so much power under the accelerator.

I am looking at your edition of it and I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed mine. It looks a great car and fortunately, you know what you are doing with it. The sunroof is great for ventilation when you are not in it. You don't come back to a hot interior on a sunny day.

I know you will love this bit-I paid NZ$5,800.00 for it. He came down from NZ$8,000.00.

Now tell me how nice it looks!! :trophy:

It was on the performance of that car that I decided to buy the S80.

Congratulations on great buying Tech.

Tech,
For $750, I'll close my eyes and take it if it can be driven home. Understand this is the beginning of your dream car so what are you waiting for. You are going to strip it all out anyway.
GO FOR IT TECH.

$750?!?!?!?! Obviously take it! How many miles on it? Doesn't really matter, for that price you can buy a new engine and it will still be worth it.
Nice one, go for it!

Tech, I think you know.....

Question is, what is your target completion date for this project & what standing 1/4 figure are you aiming for? That way we get to see whether you meet the targets which, of course, you will!

Can't wait for updates on progress (including pics, of course).

Best of luck with it.

Update: Im still deciding but I don't think Im going to buy it.
I was talking to a buddy of mine that has a 760 wagon that needs a little of work but less than this other car needs. He will give it to me for like $300.00 or so.

I inserted a list of what the sedan car needs which is more than the wagon will need.

The sedan or the wagon?

They both are 760 turbo's.
