I think the AMP is under the dash.

The speaker cover might slide off I forget at the moment.

Check the passenger side near the center of the dash.

If not try to trace wiring to a weird location.

Ok mine was under the steering wheel behind a metal plate and instead of messing with it I just Bypassed it and hooked the rear speakers to the head unit because the amp only run the back speakers and then the speaker grills should just pull straight out On the doors

ok gang i got the speakers out,the speaker grills slide off to the front of the car verry easy.the speakers are held in by rivietts had to drill them out, they are 6 1/2 in the front doors and 4 1/2 in the dash and 5 1/4 in the rear doors and two 6 inch what they call subs in the rear cargo on on each side of the wagon panels.still have not found the old amp yet but doo not need it enyway.im putting in a alpine headunit and a 4 chanel alpine v-12 amp for the mids and highs, and a alpine mono sub amp for the lows.speaker are infinity kappas for the the mids and highs and a 10inch infinty kappa for the sub.i will have to fiberglass in the rear storage compatment to do this. all this so i can enjoy my jazz.
