XC70R!

And since the dealership stopped (somehow) shipping in the XC70s into this country, my dream had become that little bit more fantas-ish than before. You guessed it, maintenance and parts would be a big thing to consider if I were to get it imported solely under the grey market.

:)

Well, it IS a dream!

I've got it narrowed to two. One would be an S60R, 18" wheels (maybe aftermarket, maybe Volvo) 6 speed, chipped to 335HP, lowered, aerodynamic package, Bose sound system, atacama leather, Passion Red with gold pin stripe. Second would be a 2006 C70 convertible, same color, same sound system but with auto instead of 6 speed (hey the wife has to have something to drive)

**** Yeah Tech!!!
700's rule!

I'm driving my dream volvo now! '89 760 GLE.
I would like to do the following mods on it...

1. Supercharged Ford V8 conversion (about 400 hp)
2. Nivomat Shock conversion (to Blisteins)
3. Lowered about 2"
4. New 18" Rims (Voxx or TSW) with new rubber
5. Tinted windows
6. High Performance custom exhaust
7. Body kit w/rear spoiler
8. Sunroof vent visor

My interior is already mint w/ DVD/CD/MP3, 600 w amp and 2x10" subs.
Also, I recently had the headliner redone.

:57: either the new range rover sport, or one of those shiny mustangs. i like power over speed. my flatmate has a 750 sportsbike and he keeps falling off! just shows speed isn't everything.

Never seen a 260 over here, saloon or wagon.
Also never seen a 240 turbo over here either, I don't think there were any made for the u.k. market.

Boo Hoo!!

Me, I'm a simple guy with simple needs.

A mint or restored '71 142s, limited slip diff, OD, SUs. Stock as can be.

IMHO, the finest example of a car that does what a car is meant to do. Go from A2B (or in my case B2A) safely and reliably and with a simple utilitarian style.

Someone tell me they have a prime RHD model for sale and I'll consider cashing in those savings bonds....
