Hi can somone please tell me how to change the cabil filteer on my v40 1998 model - I have seen a number of forum's talking about a slot under the glovebox but on this model there's no slot!

The lower facia panel, below the glovebox, is held in place by 4 screws. Remove it to gain access. Once you've identified it between the blower motor housing & the heating/ventillation housing, release the clip holding the filter in place & the filter should slide out - CAREFULLY NOTE WHICH WAY ROUND IT IS FITTED!

Slide the new filter into the housing the right way round & re-fit the retaining clip & the lower facia panel & screws.
