Hi,
Have you reset your stereo now? The radio goes into "off" mode after three unsuccessful attempts and you can retry after two hours.

Did you get stereo working again?

If not, leave key in ignition on position (without getting your car stolen!) for an unbroken period of not less than 2 hours.

Shouldn't flatten a charged battery in good condition, but if you are unsure as to battery condition, maybe give it a charge before you try. Alternatively, do the key trick whilst charging the battery.

Hope it works for you & remember, don't get your car stolen - quite rightly most policies don't pay out if keys are left in the car!

If you're unsure about the batteries' life, then have it checked or charged first, then drive some and then try it again.

The easier way is to let the dealer do it, though. :(

Or if you have a battery charger connect it and leave it at the lowest setting overnight.
