decided to try to do this myself.....

so it's now getting late and i haven't even got the old radiator out yet. problem is the sensor plugged into the bottom of the radiator. the new one doesn't have this??? and i can't get thing off anyway. and it's releasing air at the fitting. could someone please tell me what this is (sensor from the fan maybe??) and how to get it off? and, what about the new one not having this?

btw, I'm a newbie here. and i obviously know just enough about maintaining my own car to get me into trouble...any help would be greatly appreciated.

sincerely,
bitten-off-more-than-i-can-chew (aka Frank)

Please disregard the prevous post. I think I have the problem solved. The so-called sensor was actually on the condensor, not the radiator - I couldn't see very well under there and couldn't make out what I was looking at. So anyway, I've installed the new radiator and now just need to check it out.

Frank,

Use lots of lights when working, dude. It could be dangerous.
