My son has just purchased a 940 Turbo injected of course & we were wondering what sought of mileage we may expect as our goverment slaps a massive tax on petrol.

The car has a 115000 on the clock & is a 1994 model it seems to run like a dream but we just hope it not a gas-guzzerler.

I think it depends on what you class as a gas-guzzler, J :)

Around-Town (work and back) with lots of starts and stops, I get around 18mpg (bear in mind, my 940 is an automatic)

I've never been able to calculate mpg on a long run, but I would guess it's up around 26-28mpg solo and a little less with the trailertent on the back.

Mine is a bog standard '94 940 (petrol turbo auto estate) serviced once a year from new. :thumbsup:

I have a 1994 940 auto (no turbo) it gets somewhere between 18-20 mpg not to sure about highway i dont try to keep up with it to much then. About how many gallons or litres is the tank? Mine has i believe 114,300 miles. My friend has the same exact model but has about 210k and it runs pretty smooth
