I'm trying to put in a new cd player in my car but I need to run some new wires to it. And I don't know where to start to take apart my console. Do I need to take apart the dash first. Where do I begin??!!

You start by removing the ash tray, then removing the one screw above the lighter and you can pull that assembly off giving you full access to the deck.
