I was woundering(of course) if anybody knew how to take out the back seat of my 1989 740 GLE. I was trying to wire and amp power cord back there but then i ran into that problem.

I believe its rather simple, the bottom part of the seat is supported by two hooks at the front, all you have to do is disengage them and you should be able to lift that off. The back rest part has two bolts that you just have to take out, then it slides up and out.

Might be a little rusty, I took mine out over a year ago, I think that there is also a weak piece of metal holding onto the sides that you'll have to bend out of place to get it all out, but again, not too difficult. Good luck!
