HELLO can anyone help me does anyone know the most common faults there are with volvo 850 as my last volvo several years ago the timing belt went so that was the first thing i replaced buying this car :liebe011:

The other common fault is that when you're going 200kmh, the cargo-bay may make a little noise.

och eye stuart! good to see a scot on here, these forums are good but there are some strange foreign types on here :lol:

My main worry on any car like this would be the timing belt....but youve done that already! Apparently if you have air con the evapourators have a habit of (expensivly) packing in, though that doesnt exactly kill the car as a whole. Apart from that the weight of the beast can mean the suspension can take a hammering, but if you have a good one and look after it is should last like the volvos of old

Oh yeh, at £1 a litre now its best to stick a brick under the accelerator pedel :haha:
