Amp, you sound like a salesmans waste of time....good on yer mate :grin:

I live about 20miles from the Rover factory in Birmingham, the company went into liquidation (again) a few months back, apparently a chinees consortium has bought the interests in the group but there is no sign of a return to production this year at least. It has had a very bad effect on the area, many skilled workers have had to find alternative work and hundreds of small local engineering companies who supplied Rover are also in trouble.

As for the cars theirselves they have always generaly been considered good but never great, im afraid most of the great british "patriotic" public would rather buy a BMW, that said the MG marque has always carried a good sporting reputation.

Glad you like the British car! Take a long look cause it might just be the last we mass produce over here :offtopic:

No.......thats definatly on the right side! Not many nations drive on the correct side of the road these days :amen: :bwekk:

OK, i think it is the MG Rover ZT 190 + V6.

62mph in 7.7 seconds ENGINE: 2.5-litre, 190Ps V6 24-valve

Has got good reviews over here :)
