My 1993 940 has a fuel guage snafu. It either registers empty (most of the time) or it will register half a tank (no matter how much gas is in the car). Usually when it registers half, it will flip to empty after a little while. Anybody got an idea?

Check for power from the sending unit in the tank.If not the look at the senser.If you have power then the guage might be bad.

My 94 ended up having a bad gauge. Most of the time it woud read empty. Every once in a while it would read correctly.
