Hi All;

I recently purchased an ODB2 reader and got a fault code of P0030, which when looked up gave me the following message:

HO2S Bank 1 Sen 1
Heater Circuit

Does anyone have an idea of what this is? And, is there a book or site out there where I can look up the codes and receive a quick reference on how to repair?

Thank you!

Gary

Oxygen sensor or Lamba sound.

You should replace it they go bad pretty often.

Gary,
here is a pretty good OBDII code site. You can usually just google the code and it will pop up by about the 4th-5th hit.

Cheers!

No prob. BTW you can pick up an OBDII reader for less than $50 on ebay now. Most cities you can find one at your local auto parts store.

Just remember....Volvo does not like you hacking the car...it may void the warranty.
