Ok, another question, searched this one also, but didnt find much. How strong is a stock 245DL rear axle? How much horse power could I put thru it? Any info would be great.

The B230FT was up to 165HP from the factory, several people have installed a 5.0L V8 from a mustang and have used the stock rear axle/gears.

What, the v8 in the volvo? Prob around 15 to 18. The 240 is close in weight to the mustang and honestly about as aerodynamic as a fox body.
