website www.volvotechinfo.com This is where the dealers order most of their shop manuals for the older cars from. It also has owners and service manuals. You do not need to be a delaer to order it. All you need is to set up an account and a credit card.

here in the u.k we use "haynes " manuels..... their very comprehensive and illustrated with clear pictures and step by step guides for most jobs on your car. the jobs even carry a "spanner" rating...... one spanner job is easy and quick...... five spanner job takes time and is not so straight forward......
they have all torque settings and tech details and any other relavent info....

ive always used haynes manuels for cars and bikes. theyve never let me down.

Thanks for the info. The one I'm leaning towards is the Chilton for Euro cars mainly for the price I saw it for, but I'll definitely check other these other options.
