Do seat covers, the lamb skin kind, screw up the side impact air bags. And my SRS light is on, this happen about 3 days before I put the seat covers on.

Single-function seat covers (just to look good), naturally are not good for the SIPS AirBag. Unless you strip the old one, and the new one comes and is properly installed to allow the SIPS AirBag to inflate unhindered.

If the SRS connections are all good, i suggest you have it looked at. If the SRS warning lights appear, the functions will be disabled.

I would say yes.The leather cover is designed to split when the air bag goes off.If you add another layer it will be harder to go through.
