While looking thru Volvo's website for the rear sunshade option (not that I doubt u Tech but I couldnt find it  ) I found this quote:

"All Volvo sedans are equipped with a button enabling you to lock/unlock the trunk from inside the vehicle"

Found it under Specifications and Options -power trunk release. Is this a seperate button, or just the door lock button? Now, I know weve harped on this a while, but I thought some might be interested in keeping this discussion going.

Maybe I just have too much time tonight

One there is a valet option that I beleive locks the trunk and only works to unlock the trunk with the normal keys. The valet key will not unlock it at all.

Second the door locks locked will lock the trunk.
