Great car, 52K miles, cosmetically nearly perfect.

Occasional problem with electricals. After starting engine, sometimes windows, electrical door locks, seats dash lights etc don't work. Turn car off & on they do?

Something with the ignition switch perhaps? Looking for clues before taking it to a dealer.

Next time it happens wiggle the key some and see if they come back on.

If so the electrical part of the switch is bad.

I have a similar problem with my 1996 960 wagon. Sometimes while I am driving the horn starts blowing and the flashers blink. This seem to happen more often when it is raining. I'm tempted to just find and pull the fuse on the alarm system.
