My front end is a little loose. I know I need struts but, to get started on tightening up the front end what would you replace first? Have anybody replaced the front end parts on there car completely and at what cost? Thanks.

Check the tie rods and balljoints first and see how they are.
Search around for parts and see how cheap you can find them.

Thanks for the reply tech. Can you tell me what the bar is that runs across the
front end? Is it some sort of stablizer? It looks like it slides back and forth. I
think that it might be responsible for some of the play in the front end.

Thank you.

That would be the sway bar or anti sway bar.

Yes that would make it feel loose.
