:unsure: Can Anyone help me on a small problem with my v40? The rear suspension feels hard as nails and as the roads in the uk arnt great when you go over holes etc its more of a thud you hear,has the v40 got sports suspension? ps mines a 2lt turbo se manythanks lee.

Hy,I have Volvo V40 1.8i and I have the same problem

This is a classic symptom of loose or worn suspension bushes.

I am on the hunt for some poly bushes for my 2001 V40 T4 but nobody seems to make them.
