Hello from Finland, traded my Maxima -01 to V70 -02...no regrets whatsoever...Only thing is the HU-603 stereo system, it sucks, poor sounds. Any ideas anybody, should the speaker upgrade do the trick or should I throw away the sound system and buy a new one?

I wouldn't throw away the whole thing as yet. It may be still be saved. Try to locate the problem that is making the "poor sound". And then work from there. Volvo OEMs on the sound system is generally OK.

Unless you're a sound freak (or master, whichever you want to look at it :lol:), it should be sufficient for the whole 'longish' cabin... :)

Won't throw it away, but considering to replace the speakers...I'm not a sound freak, this equipment is more than appropriate for me, jus the sound is so "dim, unclear, messy" no help adjusting the treble/bass. Maybe I will buy an equalizer..
