Can anybody help?

I need a solution to being able to play CD RW/Copied Cd's in my 850.

The Current Head Unit will only accept original discs.

Can anybody suggest a replacement head unit or whether or not I can install a CD change with little or no efort??!!

Any help would be gratefully received!

:) hi there and welcome do you have a local motorworld store near you because i bought a jvc radio cassette and 12 disc changer which will play cdr cdrw discs the units are reconditioned and boxed and come with a 6 month gaurantee the lead to connect the head unit to the original wires in the car is about £9 the whole package cost me £109 hope this helps

You could do that, or a lesser priced option is to re-format the songs in .wav form before you burn them into the disk. This most definitely will work. You could burn them into CDRs and plug it into the changer set. That's how I do mine.

And it doesn't matter what the original file is, whether in Real Audio form, mp3 form, wmv form etc.

I am not sure about the CDRWs though, as I have never done it before. If you could, and found it works, please update us, ya...

what volvo head unit u got ?? the sc802/805 will both play cd-r
