Thank you for the posting. However, my perceptions of what a VIN reader may be off target.

I assumed that the VIN reader would be a template type affair whereby you simply entered your VIN on various pages and a computer data base somewhere gave you back all the information you needed.

I have seen this VIN reader on a few sites. But, it is incomplete. Neither the S80 or V series Volvo's is listed on it for instance.

If all else fails-do we have access to Volvo Head Office?

I wouldn't mind paying for a Birth Certificate for my particular Volvo if I could obtain one. :)

Do you have a Hot-Line to Volvo?

Well, i guess i misunderstood you, then. Thus far, we don't have that in here... The VIN 'search-engine' would have to be programmed first then, i guess...

Volvo Head Office? Of course not. We're not related to them. But nothing is stopping the members from going there personally. :)
