My daughter put a Litre coke in it and that was the end of that. It appears that I have to remove the cover (simulated wood piece) that surrounds the holder. Thanks for any help

I wonder if anybody knows if it is possible to remove the storage box and replace it by a drink holder piece? Thanks for your answers. B.

Drives: Mustang,1995 Yellow T5-R,1996 850 Trubo	It has been a while On the S/V 40 you will need to remove the console then unscrew the cupholder from under the console. On the S70 pretty much grab and pull.Or you can look good with a flash light and you will see a tab on the top part of the insert.Then use a screw driver and slide it betwee the tab and the lid and slide it out.

I saw something about removing the console. What does that mean....the fake wood cover? Can someone step me through this. Any photos would be helpful! Thanks
