thanks tech for info on steering problem, will let you know how it turns out. two more questions on 1999 c70 convetible:low coolant light comes on sometimes, checked coolant ok, and thinking of changing convertible top, how difficult to change convertible top any special tools needed? thanks for help.

The sensor might be bad in the bottom of the fluid resivior.

The convertable top is a pain in the A**.
You have to be very careful and patiant you will need a couple of special tools and some other new parts.

I had a small leak in my coolant tank and my light when on every few weeks. Volvo repaired it under warranty.
