Drives: 2006 Volvo V50 T5 FWD
I have a 2006 Volvo V50 T5 FWD. The sound system is the "high performance" setup with 8 speakers, but not the Dynaudio subwoofer or 6CD changer. I would like to swap out the radio/CD head unit with one from a late model 2009-10 with HD radio and USB/iPod. The units look similar enough to fit into the dash, but will the newer unit plug into the existing system? If not, can it be adapted?
