Hello All;

I'm a newbie to this forum, I have just purchased a C70 T5 GT convertible 2000 plate. First i have to say this is my first Volvo, and I absolutely love it. BUT ........ there's always a but, I can not get any of the seats to operate back and forward with the seat levers, this still works with the electrics but is a painfully slow. Any help on what I should be looking at to sort this out.

Much Appreciated.

Harry.

The seat lever's are connected to the side controls via a microswitch. This is a known failure point on the 1st gen C's. Using the lever is still painfully slow since it just activates the motor. Many posts on this repair, just pop the lower leather cover out of the track to give you internal access. Tech has a couple posts, I would do a search, but need to log off, good luck.
