We are looking for a replacement stereo that is compatible with the volvo steering wheel controls on our 2002 V70. Anyone done this before? thanks, Chris |

The system is controlled by some module which will not communicate with new unit, plus a lot of modification to a dash board and controls... Let me know if you find some easy way. Thanks, Sailor. |

The Volvo HU's communicate with the steering wheel controls via the CANBUS, there is no aftermarket HU that will do this. However, you can get an adapter which will translate the CANBUS.
