I've seen other posts about cleaning the throttle body. What steps do I need to take to clean it on my 2002 S60 (non turbo). Is it really a do it yourself job?

Yes you can do it your self.Remove the big plastic hose that goes from the air filter box to the engine. Then reach up under the intake and loosen the 4 10 mm screws holding it to the intake. It will drop down then but if you want to remove it all the way to clean it you will need to remove the starter support bracket to get the wiring out.

Be very careful removing it past the starter hot wire or you could ground it and it will spark. It could also cause damage.I always wrap a rag around the wire to cover it.
