Hey guys i am writing to you from Australia.

I have recently purchased a 1994 850 T5. The car is unbelievable. Love it.

I am however after a little bit more go. Can someone tell me where the best place is to start?

My mechanic tells me not to adjust the boost pressure as they run extremely lean in stock form for fuel consumption and doing so could result in engine damage.

I was thinking of doing the intake and exhaust mods first and see how that goes.

Any advice would be great.

Thanks.... Paul.

While doing your exhaust, you might want to check on your catalytic converters, as well. They tend to get stuffed sometimes - potential permanent engine damage.

If you adjust the boost the mass flow sensor will make up for the extra air demand.
In other words it will richen it up.

Ok. How much more boost is still safe?

If you do one full turn on the rod which is very safe it should give you a couple of more Lbs of boost.
