I would stick with the turbo. You can only have it one way.
A turbo is free power it is driven by the exhaust system.
A supercharger takes power to make power.
You can go bigger on the turbo.

Check in the general section I made a post of links. They should help you track down some parts.

I would disagree. A turbocharger is a big restrictor in the exhaust and does take power to make power much like the supercharger.

Both methods are as good as eachother and both have disadvantages.

Turbocharger- Leightweight setup which gives fuel efficient power gains, but is bad for gas flow in the exhaust and gives lag at low rpm. Bigger the turbo bigger the lag!

Supercharger- Smooth power curve across the rev range and Ultra reliable, but less fuel efficient power gains and expensive to buy/replace parts. Weighs more than a turbocharger setup. Bigger the supercharger bigger the grin!

But a supercharger does take more power to run than a turbocharger. All the turbo does is restrict the exhaust gas, which can be lessened using several ways. A supercharger is running off the crankshaft, which will still use more power.

i have to agree th turbo is the most efficient method or induction
it utillises the expansion of th exhaust gas after it has left the cylender
the increase in backpressure is only in effect during the exhaust stroke and uses verry little power compared to a supergharger being driven mechanicaly. its the closest thing to free power. i am no expert however and ive been wrong before

Actually i have seen a turboed supercharged vette here in NY. the turbo is linked to the supercharger. you can also spray nitrous to cool off the induction charge. Not into the engine but just past the rotors to make the air denser. Also, the bigger the turbo, the bigger the lag. blowers have no lag. they do have a redline power limit. limited by the crank. the big question is big burnouts or top speed?
