i have a 1985 740gle, non-turbo. I tried starting it sunday and it died.I now have no power.When i turn the ignition nothing happens, i have no lights,no dash lights,no sound ,nothing!

Check the battery and all connections.
Either the battery is dead or there is a bad connection.
