Hello, The SRS light on my '91 240 stays on. I'm told the Crash Sensor Module is bad. Any idea where to get a used replacement and how much it will cost? New is around $1400.

Thanks,

Markap

I don't know anything about the SRS system, but I've heard you can reset the system by pulling the fuse or disconnecting the battery ...

Normally it's an overpriced mercury switch under the driver's seat. Try resetting as suggested. Best bet on a replacement is a junk yard (but not from one that's been in a crash).

Hunt the part down from a reputable salvage yard. Probably a ton of them out there. Use a high grade reset tool for the SRS reset or just have the dealership do it. You can also buy a SRS reset tool for less than $100 though.
