Hi Forum, I have a 2008 C70 T5 with almost 20000 miles. I have the 18" Pirelli wheels and they are practically bald on the insides (from which I have read in other posts is where these tires wear out first). I need to replace them. I do mostly city and hwy driving, my #1 requirement is they are quiet, I would like for them to last 25-30000 miles. Does anyone have any recommendations/suggestions? I'm looking at Falken FK 452's. I'd like to spend around $150 per tire, hopefully that is possible and can get a good tire since I figure I will have to replace tires every year and a half (big time bummer, but the funness of this car is worth it!!).

Thank you!

Hi So CA C70 Cutie--IMHO I think Michelin tires are the best on the road. My '09 C70 came with them, but if it hadn't, I would have put them on as the first tire change. I have had Michelin tires on my past pickup's, and cars. We upgraded my wife's S60 tires to Michelin, as soon as her "other" tires wore out. I like the ride, AND the quietness of the tire. I don't work for, or have any affilitation with Michelin, I just like their tires, and have passed this on to my two girls--both run only Michelin's on their cars. You're driving a safe car, why not also have a safe tire? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif)

Check out www.tirerack.com for reviews of ultra high performance tires. There are several quite models from Bridgestone, Michelin and Yokohama.
